Different Ways to Stop Smoking

You might be wondering how to stop smoking, what way works best, and what products have worked for other smokers. Three possible alternatives include:

Five Steps to Overcome the Smoking Habit

1. Begin slowly.

2. Each day increase the amount of time you delay smoking - for example, if you have the habit of smoking after a meal, wait a few minutes longer each day before you smoke after eating.

Another tips is to chew sugarless gum. You won't gain weight, the chewing will relieve stress and you'll breath will be fresh.

"Avoid places where you used to smoke and don't hang around people who smoke" is going to prove to be pretty difficult, however. There is only a few places where I didn't smoke ... and I sure don't want to spend the whole day in my flat ;)

It's also very easy to quit smoking using snus but then quitting snus is a bit more challenging. Snus will stop all your cravings because it's nicotine as well. But with no smoke, no bad breath and no ash, people really don't have a reason to stop it.
